We are representing a leading multinational provider of intralogistics and warehouse solutions seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive project-based sales across Asia Pacific through a network of local distributors and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow project-based sales across multiple APAC markets via distributor partners
- Drive business development for warehouse solutions, automation, and specialized material handling systems
- Develop and execute a structured regional strategy for project business growth
- Define business plans, targets, and performance measures jointly with distributors
- Support and coach partners to enhance technical capability, solution selling, and sales effectiveness
- Ensure solutions proposed are technically feasible, commercially sound, and market-relevant
- Monitor distributor performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions where required
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align on solution design, pricing, and execution
- Maintain oversight of commercial performance, including revenue targets and receivables management
- Build strong regional market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
- Promote best practices, tools, and processes across the distributor network
- Support training, qualification, and development of distributor sales and technical teams
- Act as a key regional contact for complex project solutions within the partner ecosystem
- Travel regularly within the region to support partners and customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 68+ years of experience in project-based B2B sales within industrial or capital equipment environments
- Strong background in intralogistics, material handling, warehouse automation, or related industries
- Proven experience managing and developing distributor or partner-led sales models across multiple countries
- Demonstrated success in complex solution selling rather than transactional sales
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Experience working within international organizations preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical, structured, and process-oriented approach
- Entrepreneurial, independent, and comfortable operating in a regional matrix environment
- Fluency in English; additional Asian languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively within APAC
