We are partnering with a global chemical trading/manufacturing organisation to appoint a Regional Sales Manager (Epichlorohydrin / ECH) to drive international business growth across Asia.
This is a high- ownership commercial role with strong exposure to
global customers, trading partners, and the full chemical value chain.
Regional Sales Manager - Epichlorohydrin (ECH)
- Based in Singapore | Regional Coverage: Indonesia, China India & Southeast Asia
- Frequent regional travel (China / Indonesia)
Key Responsibilities:
International Sales & Market Development
- Drive overseas sales growth of Epichlorohydrin (ECH) across industrial end-users and trading partners
- Identify and develop new customers via LinkedIn, trade shows, industry databases, and B2B platforms
- Execute structured sales strategies to achieve volume and profitability targets
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with global chemical buyers
- Manage commercial discussions on product specifications (purity, moisture, colour, etc.)
- Conduct KYC and credit risk assessments for customers
- Coordinate resolution of customer issues with QA and operations teams
Contract & Order Execution
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and penalties
- Coordinate end-to-end export execution with operations team based in Indonesia
- Manage full documentation process (invoice, packing list, BL, DG certificates, COO, etc.)
- Ensure timely shipment execution and payment collection
Market Intelligence & Pricing:
- Monitor global ECH pricing trends, feedstock movements, and demand cycles
- Provide regular market updates to support pricing and commercial decisions
- Track regulatory developments (e.g. REACH, anti-dumping regulations)
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with hazardous chemical transport regulations (IMDG Code)
- Support export compliance across multiple regions
- Monitor FX exposure and support hedging strategies where needed
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / Degree in International Trade, Chemical Engineering, Business or related discipline
- Minimum 4-8 years experience in chemical trading / export sales
- Experience in Epichlorohydrin (ECH) or related products (epoxy resin, glycerin, caustic soda, etc.) is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of international trade processes and hazardous chemical logistics
- Experience engaging with overseas industrial / manufacturing clients
