Regional Sales Manager – Cast Polyurethane (APAC)

Coverage: Southeast Asia, China, South Korea & Japan

Travel: 50% across the region

Location: Ideally Singapore (flexible across Asia depending on candidate)

-Open for foreign talents who can relocate to Singapore

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a global specialty chemicals leader in polyurethane systems to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for their Cast Polyurethane (CPU) portfolio across APAC. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role reporting directly to the CEO, with full ownership of regional growth, partner network development, and key customer relationships.

Your Role

  • Drive and execute the regional sales strategy for Cast Polyurethane systems
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and growth segments
  • Build, manage, and optimize a strong distributor and partner network across APAC
  • Develop and maintain relationships with:
  • Elastomer processors
  • OEMs and industrial manufacturers
  • Application-focused customers (rollers, wheels, wear parts, etc.)
  • Lead commercial execution, including:
  • Pricing strategy
  • Quotations and distributor pricing structures
  • Contract negotiations
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets
  • Deliver market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and regional demand trends
  • Work closely with technical and laboratory teams to deliver application-driven solutions
  • Support customer issue resolution and after-sales engagement
  • Represent the business at industry exhibitions, technical seminars, and customer events
  • Maintain and manage customer and prospect pipeline data

What We're Looking For

  • Degree qualified with 8+ years of experience in Cast Polyurethane / (CPU) sales
  • Strong understanding of: Elastomer systems and applications and Industrial and application-driven selling
  • Proven track record in multi-country APAC sales management
  • Experience working with distributors and channel partners
  • Strong commercial acumen with exposure to: Pricing, Forecasting, Market development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a regional, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%)
