Job Description

To oversee sales activities for a specific geographic area in F&B / FMCG industries, work to increase sales and profitability within territory. Develop and implement sales strategies, manage sales teams, and build relationships with key clients and distributors. Analyse sales data, monitor performance, and report on progress towards goals.

Key Responsibilities:

. Sales Strategy and Planning:

. Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve company objectives.

. Set sales targets and quotas for individual team members and the region.

. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

. Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and improvement.

Sales Team Management:

. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives.

. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

. Coordinate sales efforts with marketing and product development teams.

Client Relationship Management:

. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and other stakeholders.

. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively.

. Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

. Track sales performance against targets and budgets.

. Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.

. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

Inventory Management:

. Work with distribution partners to ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.

. Coordinate logistics and delivery of products to customers.

Product Knowledge:

. Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.

. Communicate product information and benefits to customers.

Budget Management:

. Develop and manage the regional sales budget.

. Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

. Strong sales and leadership skills.

. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

. Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

. Knowledge of the agricultural industry and market.

. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
