The Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening key customer relationships for Mars Safety International Pte Ltd within the assigned region. This role will lead regional sales activities for marine lifesaving, safety, and firefighting equipment, ensuring alignment with international maritime regulations and company objectives.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in marine equipment, ship supply, offshore, or maritime safety, along with strong leadership and commercial execution skills.
Own and achieve regional sales targets and profitability goals
Develop and execute regional sales strategies for marine lifesaving and firefighting equipment
Identify new business opportunities with ship owners, ship managers, shipyards, offshore operators, and marine service providers
Drive sales through distributors, agents, and direct key accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and classification societies
Expand Mars Safety's presence across ports, shipyards, and offshore markets
Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
Represent the company at maritime exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
Lead, coach, and develop regional sales managers, executives, and agents
Set clear KPIs, performance metrics, and sales targets for the team
Ensure consistent sales processes, reporting, and CRM discipline
Work closely with Operations, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance
Coordinate with Product and Certification teams on approvals (MED, SOLAS, CCS, DNV, ABS, etc.)
Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of sales experience in the marine, offshore, ship supply, or safety equipment industry
Proven experience managing regional or multi-country sales operations
Demonstrated ability to manage distributors and key strategic accounts
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
Experience selling lifesaving appliances, firefighting equipment, or marine safety products
Existing network with ship owners, ship managers, and shipyards
Results-driven with strong commercial acumen
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
Strong relationship builder and influencer
Data-driven decision-making and forecasting accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global maritime environment
