THE JOB
Regional Sales Channel Director - Taiwan and SEA
Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
1. Distributor Management:
a. Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with master distributors and key partners.
b. Conduct product training, develop pricing strategies, and set service standards to ensure distributors meet sales targets.
c. Oversee the execution of distribution agreements, including product placement, pricing, and promotional activities.
2. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
a. Develop a deep understanding of regional markets, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
b. Create and implement tailored channel management strategies for each country and region.
c. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and drive strategic actions.
Sales Forecasting and Revenue Management:
a. Ensure accurate sales forecasting and achieve designated sales targets for the region.
b. Manage the regional Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring profitability and cost effectiveness.
c. Regularly review sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet revenue goals.
4. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
a. Maintain regular communication with regional stakeholders, including distributors, internal teams, and partners.
b. Provide feedback, address issues, and offer solutions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
c. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, production, logistics) to meet customer needs and ensure high-quality product delivery
THE CANDIDATE
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or distributor management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing regional P&L.
4. Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior in Taiwan, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and externalpartners.
7. Fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) is requiredadditional languages are a plus.
