Job Summary
Drive sales growth in Southeast Asia by generating leads, managing key accounts, and delivering technical solutions. Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to develop opportunities, conduct market analysis, and support customer needs for product and service enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Generate primary demand by creating sales leads for products and solutions
- Present industry expertise and tailored solutions directly to clients
- Collaborate with end users and consulting engineers to qualify and develop sales opportunities
- Drive booking growth in Southeast Asia through key account management and project pursuit
- Lead negotiations from initial customer contact through to opportunity closure
- Deliver regular sales and market analyses to the team and coordinate sales and marketing activities
- Provide technical, product, and application support to internal and external customers as needed
- Use market intelligence to align product and service offerings with customer needs by developing partnerships
- Initiate and lead competition analysis, pricing analysis, market studies, and product benchmarking to increase market share
- Collaborate with engineering and product support teams to manage and execute projects efficiently and cost-effectively
- Provide management with customer feedback for new product development, revisions, and service or training offerings
- Coordinate technical and commercial proposal completion, including quotes, sizing, and proposals, with application team support
- Supply timely and accurate information to maintain the company's sales funnel and monthly sales calls
- Participate actively in weekly and monthly sales meetings with the sales team
- Continuously follow up on sales projects, including opportunity tracking and forecasting
- Maintain the corporate marketing database with call reports, proposals, lost sales reports, and other management-directed documents
- Engage in ad-hoc projects as assigned by management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent engineering science
- Professional education in engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills applied to sales and customer support
- Effective writing, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills
- Well-developed communication skills to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules across multiple projects
- Ability to perform well individually and in team settings under pressure with minimal supervision
- English speaking candidates who are also proficient in Thai and/or Vietnamese preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
