Job Description

Location: Southeast Asia / APAC (Remote)

Proclad is a leading engineering and manufacturing company specialising in corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) solutions for the global energy industry. With integrated capabilities including Weld Overlay Cladding, Mechanically Lined Pipe, induction bending, process equipment and precision machining, we support major EPC contractors, operators and industrial clients worldwide.

As part of our continued international growth, we are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to lead commercial development across Southeast Asia and selected APAC markets. This is a remote role based in Southeast Asia. Applicants should be located in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia, or be able to travel extensively throughout the region.

The Role

Working remotely within the region, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and securing projects across Proclad's product portfolio.

Acting as Proclad's regional presence, you will work closely with NOC's, IOC's, EPC contractors, asset operators, engineering consultants and fabrication partners while coordinating with business development and commercial teams in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional business development and sales strategies.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities across Southeast Asia and APAC.
  • Identify, pursue and secure new project opportunities.
  • Develop long-term relationships with Asset owners and operators, EPC contractors, consultants and key industry stakeholders.
  • Promote Proclad's portfolio of corrosion-resistant manufacturing solutions.
  • Support tendering activities and commercial negotiations through to contract award.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities across new industries.
  • Represent Proclad at client meetings, industry events and regional exhibitions.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence to support strategic growth.

Experience

  • 3–7 years experience in business development or technical sales within the oil & gas, energy or industrial sectors.
  • Proven success in developing new business and managing key customer relationships.
  • Experience working with EPC contractors, operators or major industrial clients.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently across multiple countries.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good understanding of the commercial and cultural landscape across Southeast Asia.

  • Experience adapting sales approaches to different markets and business cultures.
