Regional RSC Operations Vice President

Job Purpose

The Regional RSC Operations Vice President is responsible for establishing, leading, and executing the industrial and operational strategy for the Rolling Stock & Components (RSC) Product Line within the designated region.

This role ensures operational excellence, performance enhancement, industrial transformation, and standardization across all regional RSC facilities, while maintaining alignment with Central RSC Operations Métier, Group industrial strategy, and the Alstom Management System.

The position is a key contributor to business competitiveness, delivery performance, cost efficiency, safety, quality, and sustainability at the regional level.

A. Regional Industrial & Operations Strategy

. Establish and implement the regional RSC operations and industrial strategy in accordance with Central RSC Operations and Product Line objectives.

. Translate Group and Product Line industrial priorities into actionable regional execution plans.

. Ensure uniform deployment of industrial standards, processes, and governance throughout all RSC sites in the region.

B. Operational Performance & Delivery

. Lead and manage regional industrial performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and personnel.

. Evaluate, challenge, and improve site performance through structured governance and corrective measures.

. Guarantee robust industrial support for project delivery, industrialization, and tender activities.

C. Industrial Transformation &Continuous Improvement

. Lead and sponsor industrial transformation initiatives including footprint optimization and capability development.

. Drive deployment of World Class Manufacturing (WCM),digitalization, automation, and standardized solutions.

. Facilitate regional adoption of central transformation programs and best practices.

D. Governance, Standards & Compliance

. Ensure compliance with the Alstom Management System and applicable rail standards.

. Guarantee consistent industrial governance and maturity across the region.

. Serve as the regional authority for industrial decision-making within defined established governance frameworks.

E. Leadership & Organisation Development

. Provide strong functional leadership to regional industrial and operations teams.

. Develop leadership capabilities, succession planning, and talent.

. Promote a strong safety culture, accountability, and performance excellence mindset

F. Stakeholder Management

. Serve as the primary regional liaison with Central RSC Operations Métier.

. Collaborate with Regional Presidents, Platform leaders, and site management.

. Represent the region in central industrial governance forums.

. Extensive senior leadership experience in industrial operations or manufacturing sectors.

. Demonstrated multi-site, multi-country leadership expertise.

. Strong background in industrial transformation and change management.

. Ability to operate effectively in complex matrix and international environments.
