Job Summary
Establish and oversee effective in-process Quality Control and Assurance systems across overseas subsidiaries. Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and documents. Conduct compliance inspections to ensure adherence to relevant ISO standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Environmental, Health and Safety procedures to ensure compliance with ISO standards across overseas subsidiaries
- Conduct comprehensive Quality, Safety, and Environmental compliance inspections and assessments to identify non-conformities and enforce corrective and preventive actions
- Perform gap analysis to evaluate current quality and safety systems and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare, submit, and manage detailed documentation including manuals, procedures, forms, and reports aligned with ISO standards and best practices
- Strengthen QEHS management systems and operational practices to optimize compliance and performance
- Review and optimize business process workflows and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and quality outcomes
- Prevent and eliminate quality issues and safety incidents to reduce associated loss costs
- Promote and implement best practices in quality, safety, and environmental management consistently across overseas subsidiaries
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor and ensure quality, safety, and environmental conformance
- Compile and submit performance reports related to QEHS for overseas subsidiaries to senior management
- Educate and enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of overseas subsidiary teams in quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Digitalize and simplify operational workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy where applicable
- Collaborate effectively with multicultural and cross-functional teams to drive quality and safety initiatives
- Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills to address quality and safety challenges proactively
- Utilize MS Office tools proficiently to manage documentation and reporting
- Willingness to travel to overseas subsidiaries as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC roles within M&E, HVAC, and/or Construction industries
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and proven experience implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Expertise in ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Lead Auditor (preferred but strongly aligned with role requirements)
- Proficient ISO auditing skills
- Strong knowledge of M&E engineering quality control and assurance practices
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical design knowledge and familiarity with associated design software
