Job Description

The Product Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation and control of the effective design and implementation of the local product leadership strategy (PLS) for Business Unit F&P within the South Asia region.

Responsibilities

  • Define the regional Product Leadership Strategy and initiatives
  • Support Market Organization (MO) Product Managers and Sales Managers in South Asia Pacific region (A2) with market knowledge, communication and training in line with Global Process Management Systems on Product Portfolio Management and Hilti Marketing Management steps
  • Work closely with Business leaders to understand products, applications, markets & competition
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop segment specific new products to improve penetration and/or coverage
  • Provide content for standard communication material within HUB
  • Analyze and steer critical KPIs: sales, quantity, market share, profitability, NSP, product mix as well as availability and stock-turn/ obsolescence
  • Act as the main interface to trade management and relevant Business Units in Schaan
  • Organize of A2 regional Experience Exchange workshops
  • Create a proactive approach to communicate product value including internal & external PR and ensure consistent and clear communication of our brand in line with global and local brand strategy.

Requirements:

  • University degree required in Engineering, MBA is preferred
  • 5-6 years of work experience in Product Management, Business Development and Sales within Construction or engineering industry. Experience within Passive fire protection, structural fire protection and fire safety is an added advantage
  • Superior understanding of product marketing, with the ability to contribute to the business and priorities of the corporation
  • Strong business ownership mindset, commercial acumen and marketing skills, e.g. market research, competitor sensing, product lifecycle, communications, merchandising, promotions, product launches and analysis
  • Solid experience in direct sales model is an added advantage
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels and function, providing information and feedback to the wider business
  • Willing to travel approximately 40% nationally and internationally (post CVD)
  • Language skills in addition to English highly desirable
