Coordinate and supervise and when necessary, execute all aspects of purchasing and material planning of raw material, packaging and other material and services as specified.
Source and qualify potential suppliers, in accordance with established supplier certification guidelines and Purchasing policies.
Co-ordinate and oversee bid processes for suppliers according to established guidelines.
Work cross-functionally to assist in the development of new products (i.e., packaging design, new ingredients, labels, etc.)
Work with QA and R&D on quality issues, specifications, nutritional information and discuss concerns with suppliers.
Establish and maintain the chain of command for all purchasing requisitions, purchasing documentation, forecasts and receiving documentation.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing Management, Logistic Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Relevant working experience in F&B retail would be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Good communication and negotiation skills
Good in planning, organizing and prioritizing assignments.
Continuously implementing improvement processes is a priority.
Independent, able to work under pressure, as well as multi-tasking.
