Job Summary
The Regional Procurement Manager (AA, EMEA, APAC) is a newly created, strategic mandate designed for an ambitious procurement professional ready to step into a regional leadership role. Based out of our international hub, this position is responsible for architecting and building the global procurement framework from the ground up.
This role offers a unique runway for a high-performing procurement specialist with strong local manufacturing foundations to transition into a regional scope. You will oversee end-to-end sourcing, strategic vendor management, and contract negotiation across multiple international business units, ensuring cost-efficiency, regulatory compliance, and supply chain continuity while scaling the function from the scratch.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Regional Architecture
- Sourcing Excellence: Drive the timely, cost-effective regional sourcing of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and third-party services to support international market expansion.
- Infrastructure Building: Lead and support the deployment of SAP procurement modules and head the sourcing activities for regional third-party warehouses (3PL).
- Vendor & OEM Management: Collaborate closely with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and international vendors to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance, actively mitigating supply chain risks.
Commercial Negotiation & Governance
- RFP Ownership: Structure, execute, and manage the regional Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, including rigorous supplier evaluation and selection criteria.
- Contract Management: Lead high-value contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms, ensuring absolute alignment with international organizational policies and compliance standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Establish and safeguard procurement workflows to ensure strict adherence to specialized industry standards, including Halal certifications, Supplier Framework Agreements (SFA), and global F&B food safety requirements.
Financial Analytics & Process Optimization
- Spend Analysis: Partner with Finance to manage procurement budgets, audit regional spend data, and identify structural cost-saving opportunities.
- Policy Drafting: Design, draft, and implement standardized procurement policies and process improvements to streamline operations across business units.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience: Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years of robust procurement experience, specifically within Food & Beverage (F&B) manufacturing or FMCG environments. (Prior regional coverage is an advantage but not mandatory candidates with strong local track records and a growth mindset are highly encouraged to apply).
- Technical & Process Expertise: Proven track record in driving cost-saving initiatives, process optimization, and policy drafting. Hands-on proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, with SAP experience heavily preferred.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical capabilities, sharp negotiation skills, and a meticulous eye for contract details.
