Responsibilities
Team Introduction The role will lead physical security operations, risk governance, crisis management and strategic security initiatives across North-east Asia, including Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. The position serves as the sub-regional lead responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening regional resilience, and ensuring consistent implementation of corporate security standards across multiple offices. The role partners closely with regional leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, external agencies, and global security teams to manage complex security operations, critical incidents, and vendor governance. Responsibilities - Lead physical security strategy and operational governance across Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and India. - Act as the primary escalation point for significant security incidents, crisis management coordination, and regional emergency response. - Drive consistency and standardisation of security programs, policies and operating procedures across Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and India sites. - Provide strategic oversight of guarding vendors, security budgets, KPIs, and operational performance across multiple countries. - Partner with business leaders, Workplace, Legal, HR and global security teams on risk mitigation and regional security priorities. - Lead complex regional projects including new office security design, event security planning, and business continuity initiatives. - Conduct regional risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations for geopolitical, operational, and workplace security risks. - Manage and develop country security personnel and vendors to ensure scalable and high-performing regional operations. - Support regional crisis management structures and participate in cross-functional incident command and emergency response leadership. - Support workplace investigations as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in corporate security (as a contractor or full-time employee), with at least 2+ years in a security management role. - Experience managing security operations across multiple sites in multiple countries with a track record of high performance and increasing responsibilities. - Experience supporting new office security deliverables (e.g., conducting risk assessments, high-level design of access control, CCTV and other technical security controls, etc). - High level of operational familiarity working with physical access control systems, video management systems, life safety systems and visitor management systems. - Ability to update and maintain robust site documentation including checklists, post orders, and standard operating procedures. - Demonstrated experience leading response efforts during complex security incidents, crises, and business disruptions. - Excellent verbal and written ability with strong stakeholder management skills. - Sound problem-solving skills and comfortable working with fast-paced and delivering within tight timeframes. - Ability to travel to other offices, sometimes at short notice respond to emergencies after-hours and to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as operational needs demand. Preferred Qualifications - CPP, PSP, PCI, CSMP, CBCP, or similar credentials. - Prior law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate security background. - Experience in technology or multinational corporate environments. - Experience leading or significantly contributing to guarding RFPs, and deep understanding of hiring, training, developing, and managing performance. - Experience managing security operations in at least two of the following markets: Hong Kong, Japan, Korea. - Experience supporting major business events (e.g. venue risk assessments, live event support). - People management responsibility is advantageous. - Responsibility for Threat Management Programs, including managing dynamic threats to people and facilities. - Strong familiarity with other physical security pillars/programs, including Travel Security, Global Security Operations Centres (GSOCs), Business Continuity, and Investigations. - Undergraduate/Master's degree in a related field is advantageous. - Strong financial and commercial ability and awareness (e.g., budget management).
