PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Regional People Technology & Processes Manager mandate is to support the drive for organizational productivity, and this role enables Avolta's APAC business to set the right foundations and prepare for future growth through Technology, Organization and Process innovation and improvement as well as PC&O-business governance and Organization-Personnel data integrity.

Reporting to the Regional PC&O Director, APAC, with a matrix reporting line to the Global Head of People Technology, the ideal candidate's expertise and experience would be anchored on competencies in project management, stakeholder management, change management, operating and organization model design and workforce analytics; across the spectrum of core business partnering modules, such as recruitment, talent management, learning and development, performance management.

Besides enhancement of NEXUS (Avolta's People Technology Platform, powered by SuccessFactors), this role will proactively define, upgrade and transform processes across the PC&O value chain and APAC region - countries interaction model and ways of working.

RESPONSIBILITIES

People Technology Operating System & Solutions

  • Support the design of how the region manages the PC&O requirements for tech and non-tech enablers and competing demands with global PC&O, countries PC&O and business priorities/ complexities across APAC; and lead the change management process with region and country stakeholders (i.e. country GMs and PC&O leads).
  • Support the evaluation and project manage roll-out of future People Technology needed to support a >CHF 1B business across >10 countries, including (non-exhaustive), front of house (rostering, attendance-payroll), enterprise systems (integration with time and attendance management/ payroll, 3rd party etc.).

PC&O Processes & Governance

  • Evaluate organization productivity and proactively enhance PC&O processes, especially region-countries interaction and governance model (including authority grid) on recruitment, goals setting, performance management, personnel expense control, employee relations, organization changes. Future clarifications may include documentation on RACI.
  • Review country PC&O core processes and initiate region templating and exceptional management (local laws, local practices) to drive greater consistency in the region.
  • Design and rollout PC&O process documentation, including updates, version controls and access for region PC&O leadership and team members.

Workforce Performance Analytics

  • Develop the mechanics to measure, drive insights and roll-out the region's target business-workforce-PC&O function performance metrics, that enables the business to understand, plan and take action on what drives sales, productivity with PC&O interventions, including learning & development, staffing and retention, succession planning, employee engagement, PC&O function cost to serve.
  • With predictive analytics, co-lead with Total Rewards manager to strengthen the region and country anticipation and interventions for personnel expenses control on a quarterly basis, aligned with budgeted and forecast sales and EBIDTA metrics.

PC&O Management System (NEXUS) Enhancement

  • Lead APAC continuous rollout of NEXUS modules, including enhancements, aligned with Global NEXUS roadmap.
  • Manage and balance the project timelines with APAC countries stakeholders and local demands/ priorities.
  • Quality control the input of organizational and employee master data into NEXUS and guide country PC&O Leads in ensuring timely update and user adoption (ESS/ MSS).
  • Proactively evaluate user adoption and propose interventions, including change management, training, leadership communications, to improve ESS/ MSS.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally in international or multinational organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of core PC&O practices - recruitment, talent management, learning and development, performance management.
  • Skilled in project management, stakeholder management, change management, operating and organization model design.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in People Technology systems, especially SuccessFactors.
  • Ability to manage tight timelines, prioritize competing tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with risk management, compliance audits, and cross-functional collaboration.
