Drive the growth of cross-border payment business through a clear understanding of initiatives such as new product offerings, feature enhancements, app experience improvements, ecosystem partnerships, tactical campaigns and pricing strategies.
Define and prioritize payment features based on customer needs and market feasibility.
Develop a deep understanding of global payment regulations, foreign exchange markets, and currency fluctuations.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities in the cross-border payment space.
Work collaboratively with different teams, such as country business and marketing teams, product designers, business intelligence to launch and promote user-friendly and innovative cross-border payment products.
Cultivate relationships with potential partners, including money transfer operators (MTOs), correspondent banks, and fintech companies.
Negotiate and structure strategic partnerships to enhance our payment / FX network and service offerings.
Analyze product performance, identifying areas for optimization and growth, including transaction speeds, fees, and conversion rates.
Recommend and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience for cross-border payment services.
Lead market entry initiatives for new countries or customer segments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in transactional banking, payments companies, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of ASEAN payments market, regulations (AML/KYC), and customer needs.
Strong understanding of international payment methods (SWIFT, etc.) and foreign exchange mechanisms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Experience in developing and launching new financial products or services.
Experience with cross-border payments processing workflows is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling tools is a plus.
