The Regional Partner Manager - Data Centre Cooling role is responsible for the end-to-end deployment and expansion of managed cooling programmes across Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on data centre customers. The position will build partner capabilities, implement standardised playbooks and processes, lead cross-functional delivery teams, and ensure consistent, reliable, and commercially viable service delivery across the region.
Responsibilities
Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard local partners, including installers, M&E contractors, and service providers, to enable the regional delivery of cooling programmes
Playbooks & Training: Develop and roll out standard operational playbooks, SOPs, and training modules tailored to data centre operations and uptime requirements
Programme Delivery: Lead programme planning and execution, including site readiness, engineering coordination, installation, commissioning, and customer handover for data centre projects
Operations & Lifecycle: Establish maintenance, monitoring, and lifecycle management processes to meet SLAs and reliability targets
Commercial Enablement: Translate commercial models into executable programme scopes and support pricing, VOC input, and contract implementation
Performance Management: Define programme KPIs, including uptime, MTTR, SLA compliance, and margin track performance, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement
Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with sales, product, engineering, and regional operations teams on customer onboarding, technical scoping, and escalation management
Governance & Reporting: Maintain programme plans, budgets, risk registers, and regular status reports for regional leadership
Reporting & Team:
Reports to the Regional Services/Programme Lead
Works with regional engineering, operations, and partner teams may supervise local project managers or programme leads. Frequent travel across Southeast Asia is expected
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities, Business, or a related field
8-10 years of experience managing regional technical service or infrastructure programmes, with demonstrable exposure to data centre or critical facility projects
Proven ability to build and manage partner ecosystems and operationalise partner delivery models across multiple countries
Strong programme management skills, including planning, risk management, budgeting, procurement coordination, and stakeholder engagement
Commercial awareness of service and contract models, with experience supporting pricing and scope delivery
Excellent communication and multicultural stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced degree
Hands-on familiarity with data centre cooling systems, chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC units, thermal management, and monitoring platforms
Experience with service-level agreement management, digital monitoring tools, and lifecycle service models
Performance indicators
On-time and on-budget delivery, including successful customer handovers
Service-level agreement and uptime performance, mean time to repair, and reduction in operational incidents
Partner onboarding speed and partner delivery quality
Programme margin and adherence to commercial targets
Adoption of standardised playbooks and compliance with established processes
