Job Summary
Drive sales growth and expand market share by developing and executing strategic plans for spare parts and aftermarket products. Collaborate with sales teams and distributors to optimize inventory, forecast sales, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales opportunities from leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and profitability for the business unit
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and pipeline plans to support management decision-making
- Promote aftermarket service sales to distributors alongside spare parts sales to increase revenue
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop targeted sales strategies for identifying and capturing new opportunities within existing accounts
- Provide technical support and expert advice on a wide range of diesel industrial engines to distributors for spare parts inquiries
- Optimize inventory levels, including own stock and consignment stock at customer sites, to minimize stock-up costs while maintaining parts availability
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of projects, pricing, sales, and sales activities to support operational transparency
- Create and deliver compelling proposal presentations to sales representatives, customers, and prospects to drive sales engagement
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams to enhance processes and outcomes
- Perform additional parts sales and aftermarket duties as assigned to support business objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in spare parts or automotive industry
- Ability to travel 10-15% within Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions as required for business needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in spare parts sales with engine manufacturers is advantageous
