Regional Operations Controller F&B APAC- Your future position

Be the co-pilot to the Head of APAC Operations by providing the necessary business insight in order to achieve the business plan. Support the strategy and development of the regional business plan by providing insight into the KPIs and their drivers and by pro-active challenging the business partners. This in collaboration with the network of site controllers, the Operations teams and the various CoE's (e.g. Continuous Improvement)

Core Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering Make sure that the Operations team is aware of all the risk and opportunities which can impact the performance of Operations, propose mitigation actions and ensure the execution of these actions after alignment.
  • Business Insight Provide Operations Management with interpretive and predictive operational and financial information on which to make business decisions. Perform ad-hoc and pro-active analyses of the region's monthly KPIs and provide Operational Management with the business performance insight
  • InvestmentsDrive the investment process within the region, including validation of the business cases, ensure approval and following up on executed investments to stay within scope and budget.
  • Management of Site Controllers Responsible for the Operations Controlling Network in the APAC (Joint venture including). Provide clear guidance, set priorities, develop the team and make sure that the controllers operate as business partner to the Site Operations teams. Act as the liaison between Site Controllers and Global Operations Controlling.
  • Budget Cycle. Lead the annual operations budget process within the region, in line with global guidance and in line with the regional business plan. This includes the annual standard product costing and being the interface with the Pricing organization related to costing.

Your professional profile includes

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or professional accountancy qualification
  • Around 10+ years of experience in controlling function, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent analytical skills Be able to simplify complex matters into easy to understand dialogue with business partners
  • Strong communication skills establish trust and credibility
  • Fluent in English. Any other language is a plus
  • Strong knowledge on MS office applications (Excel & PPT) and ERP systems (ideally SAP FICO)
  • Able to work with and influence people at all levels - Organizational savvy in managing diverse stakeholders
  • Team player and able to motivate others
