Job Description

Your mission

  • Clinical Education & Training
  • Design and implement clinical training programs for healthcare professionals and surgeons.
  • Conceptualise, lead, execution and evaluation of hands-on workshops, simulations, proctorships, and wet labs.
  • Ensure training programs are aligned with clinical competency requirements, product adoption objectives, and market needs.
  • Collaborate with internal Sales and Product teams to align training with competency and market needs.
  • Design and deploy Omnichannel (digital and face-to-face) learning solutions and simulator ecosystems to maximize educational reach and training efficiency across SEAT.
  • Define and track metrics to evaluate training effectiveness, ensuring HCPs successfully progress from classroom learning to independent clinical practice.
  • Scientific Engagement
  • Build and manage KOL networks across key specialties to drive scientific advocacyacting as a strategic bridge to gather actionable clinical insights and translate field feedback into commercial strategies for Marketing and Product teams.
  • Monitor clinical trends, procedural advancements, and unmet clinical needs to support business and education strategies.
  • Interpret and communicate clinical evidence, scientific publications, and product-related data to the medical community
  • Support the development of evidence-based educational and scientific communication materials.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory teams to deliver impactful clinical content.
  • Support product launches through clinician education and evidence-based messaging.
  • Provide clinical expertise during customer engagements, evaluations, workshops, and strategic account activities.
  • Ensure regional training initiatives align with global medical affairs strategies and commercial priorities.
  • Centres of Excellence, Research & Publications
  • Identify and establish Centres of Excellence to showcase procedural best practices, and oversee Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and collaborative research projects to ensure operational compliance.
  • Design and execute clinical research protocols aligned with strategic goals.
  • Collect and analyze trial data and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback
  • Collect structured feedback on product performance, clinical usability and procedural outcomes.
  • Benchmark competitor training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Highlight innovation and validation opportunities through market and customer insights.
  • Provide actionable clinical and market intelligence to support portfolio growth and strategic planning.
  • Compliance & Governance:
  • Ensure all educational events, grants, and interactions with HCPs strictly comply with Karl Storz Health Care Compliance (HCC) guidelines, local anti-kickback laws, and APACMed codes of conduct.

Your Talents

Minimum education, certifications and/or credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MSc in Medical Science, Clinical Research, Public Health, or Healthcare Management) is preferred.
  • Minimum years of relevant work experience: 5–8 years of experience in clinical training, medical affairs, or healthcare education—preferably within the medical device or life sciences industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Skilled in using CRM tools and learning management systems (LMS) for training coordination and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures, hospital workflows, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to analyze clinical data and translate it into actionable insights and scientific communication.
  • Experience in managing Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) or external clinical research grants.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Strong project management, coordination, and organizational capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions (Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, etc.) and cultures in a regional role.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and adaptability in dynamic healthcare environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to matrix-manage across diverse healthcare systems and reimbursement landscapes in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.
