Regional Mechanical Design Lead/ Associate Principal - Data Center projects

Our client is a renowned consultancy firm with global footprints across 34 countries and keen focus on large-scale commercial projects such as Data Centers, Aviation, Healthcare etc. They're currently seeking for a Regional Mechanical Design Lead/ Associate Principal to join the team as their Data Center project pipelines grow in the region. (Approximately 50% of the project pipeline is Data Centre projects across APAC)

As the Mechanical Design Lead, you will direct the strategy, growth, and technical excellence of our Mechanical team. This is a pivotal role for an individual with a proven track record of leading the design and delivery of the world's most complex and large-scale projects (Data Center and Healthcare/ Hospital projects experience highly preferred). You will have full strategic and P&L responsibility for the Mechanical team, with a core focus on:

Business Leadership: Developing and executing business plans to drive growth and profitability.

Project Delivery Excellence: Leading the development and implementation of project plans for our most significant commissions, ensuring commercial, technical, and financial success.

Client & Business Development: Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients across the sector to secure new work.

You will provide senior leadership and technical oversight on a portfolio of landmark projects, including:

Hyperscale Data Centers

Healthcare: Hospitals

International Airports

Other Major Infrastructure & Complex Building Projects

Who We Are Looking For:

A licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore - Please be advised that PE is mandatory for this position.

20+ years experience in a leadership role, with a demonstrated history of successfully managing MEP teams on large-scale, complex projects such as international airports, data centers, or similar.

A seasoned business developer with strong experience in bidding, pitching, and negotiating contracts for major projects.

A broad technical expert in building services (Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, ESD) with a passion for innovation and sustainable design.

A strategic thinker who can build and maintain outstanding client relationships and lead diverse, high-performing teams.
