Regional Marketing Manager

Location: ofi Customer Solutions Centre @ Biopolis, Singapore

Working arrangement: 5 days in office

Our new Food & Beverage Solutions Platform draws on the strengths of our five product platforms - their global and sustainable supply chain capabilities, complementary portfolio of naturally good food and ingredients offerings, and extensive ingredient expertise to address a diverse range of customer requirements in our unique and rapidly evolving Asia Pacific Food & Beverage industry.

Built on deep consumer, category, and application understanding, we are taking our application and R&D capabilities to the next level so that we can provide an end-to-end integrated customer experience and open more on-trend and inspired product ideation opportunities, co-creating product innovations and solutions that enale our customers to delight consumers and make their ambitions real.

This newly created team is looking for a customer centric Regional Marketing Manager to work closely with the colleagues in sales, innovation, insights and sustainability within the Asia Pacific region. The main deliverable is to develop and execute category and channel strategies and building project pipeline, including the creation of value propositions, category and channel deep dives, customer engagement strategies and development of frontline tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely together with internal stakeholders in sales, insights, & innovation to create category and channel specific strategies, tactics, and communications plans, delivering results measured against key performance indicators.
  • Conduct category and channel deep dives to uncover white spaces and provide analysis and recommendations of where ofi can play and identify our right to play.
  • Create full suite of marketing assets to engage customers with the category offerings to seize opportunities. This can range from PPT presentations to email marketing campaigns, whitepapers through to webinars and category events.
  • Value proposition development for identified channel and category solutions.
  • Deliver category and campaign training for frontline, customer facing teams to ensure internal front-line understanding of all elements of the category value proposition & customer engagement programs. Create feedback loops for better customer understanding.
  • Support key customer engagements, working closely with sales and innovation teams to ideate customer solutions and conduct presentations, utilizing insights to support the proposals to customers.
  • Build and maintain critical relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Provide marketing updates to key stakeholders to keep them up to date on major consumer trends and technical, regulatory and manufacturing influences on current and potential product ranges.

The candidate

Ideal applicants are passionate about the food industry and have experience in the B2B food and beverage solutions space. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be able to skillfully navigate across the breadth and depth of our company, establishing effective working relationships with colleagues both across sales, marketing, sustainability & innovation, on a local, regional, and global level.

Requirements needed to operate successfully in this role:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of developing marketing, customer engagement strategies and value propositions in the food and beverage industry.
  • Collaborator at heart open to establishing new relationships and open to collaboration as well as managing stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with market and customer databases as well as with interpreting market reports, such as Nielsen, Innova, Mintel, Euromonitor etc.
  • Can work with limited direction and supervision, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.
  • Experience in pipeline development and lead generation strategies.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong work ethic. This is a demanding role and not a 9-5 commitment
  • Confident and assertive with various stakeholders
  • Capable of thinking strategically, while able to manage multiple hands-on tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Be able to juggle different priorities at the same time while keeping focus.
  • Creative problem-solver with a growth mindset; finding ways to simplify process / improve performance
  • Flexible mindset, keen to work in an entrepreneurial environment, able to travel and content to deal with most key stakeholders remotely across global time zones
  • Experience in customer facing roles.

Qualifications

  • Relevant marketing or communications bachelor's degree. Masters is a plus.
  • 8+ years of customer/category marketing experience in the food industry, ideally in B2B
  • Digital Marketing Experience is a plus
