Job Description: Regional Marketing Intern [March to July 2026]
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regional conferences/event(s) planning, management & execution:
- Responsible for planning, managing, and executing regional conferences and events, with the primary focus on the ARC conference and other assigned initiatives. This role involves end-to-end event management & co-ordination: coordinating logistics, collaterals design, presentation deck development, budgets, and timelines, while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners/agencies to ensure flawless delivery and an exceptional attendee experience.
Collaborate:
- Assist the regional marketing team and local marketing managers in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote Howden Asia's key specialisms across 6 regions
Support
- Creating and curating content for various marketing channels, including LinkedIn, CRM email marketing, website updates, etc.
- Supporting the design and production of marketing materials, such as PowerPoints, brochures, etc.
- Support by collaborating with the local marketing team, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines
- Support internal communication efforts by helping to disseminate marketing updates and materials to relevant teams and departments
- Assisting in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing initiatives/campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement; competitor analysis
- Support in ad hoc tasks from Marketing team planning and coordination for seminars, workshops and client engagement activities
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or similar fields.
- Responsible with strong project and time management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and strong interpersonal skills.
- Competent in Microsoft office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Meticulous with an eye for design.
- Competent in copy/content creation.
- Good to have, understanding of and experience in application of creative platforms e.g. Canva, Adobe InDesign.
- Must have passion for brand and marketing, good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in written and spoken Japanese is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
