Regional Market Director / Head of Business Development
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the overall regional market strategy, defining the direction of market growth
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including universities, consulting firms, main contractors, and specialized subcontractors
- Lead commercial negotiations for major projects and manage strategic key accounts
- Oversee regional project sourcing and integrate market resources to build a sustainable project pipeline
- Coordinate internal teams across design, engineering, procurement, and commercial functions to drive project signing and execution
- Build and develop the regional market team, including talent pipeline and succession planning
- Provide regular updates to senior management on regional market performance, expansion progress, and strategic plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant market/business development experience in the industry, with strong local market exposure, industry reputation, and client network
- Proven track record in commercial negotiations and resource integration
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and engineering/construction industry operations
- Strong strategic thinking and team leadership capabilities
