Job Description
- Oversee all freight, logistics, and warehousing activities across APAC, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Act as regional logistics expert and primary contact for APAC and global freight matters.
- Coordinate with customers, ODM partners, internal teams, and 3PLs to resolve shipping and documentation issues.
- Manage drop shipments, freight consolidation, and shipping documentation to optimize service and cost.
- Support US HQ in the annual global freight RFQ and provide regional analysis on shipping lanes, rates, and performance.
- Supervise 3PL operations in needed countries, including escalations, inventory control, and audit activities.
- Drive continuous process improvements, monitor inventories, ensure SOX compliance, and audit monthly invoices.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years experience in logistics or distribution, preferably in an electronics or semiconductor environment
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, import/export procedures, incoterms, trade documentation (e.g., Letter of Credit, Certificate of Origin), and logistics best practices.
- Experienced in managing 3PL providers and coordinating complex regional logistics operations.
- Experienced in system such as Oracle and MS Office knowledge of Python or SQL is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Comfortable with overseas travel for work when required.
