Job Description

Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, delivering swift, practical, and commerciallyrelevant legal guidance across diverse areas.
Proactively identify risks and craft solutions that enable balanced, strategic decisionmaking.
Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of a broad suite of agreements including commercial, marketing, leasing, HR, finance, and consumerrelated contracts.
Work seamlessly with crossfunctional teams across multiple markets, and manage external counsel to ensure effective and efficient legal support.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

Qualified lawyer within SEA, with minimum 5 PQE
Strong legal foundation with the agility to navigate multiple areas of law and adapt to varied challenges.
Ideally, experience in real estate, employment law, retail, or FMCG.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and project management skills.
A pragmatic, businessminded approach with confidence to lead negotiations and deliver clear, actionable advice.
Highquality drafting skills and sound commercial judgment.
Strong multiple stakeholders management skills.
Ability to thrive in fastpaced environments, balancing multiple priorities without compromising on quality.
Integrity, independence, and a proactive mindset-with the discipline to drive matters forward.
Familiarity with AIenabled tools and interest in emerging legaltech applications.
Openness to occasional travel.
