Job Description

We are seeking candidates with 5–8 years post‑qualification experience, ideally gained across a combination of private practice and in-house roles, with a strong track record advising on employment and labour law matters across the APAC region.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing practical, business-oriented advice across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, employee relations, performance management, terminations, and workplace disputes. Experience working in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments and partnering closely with HR and business stakeholders will be highly valued.

Who are we looking for

There is currently an increased demand for experienced employment lawyers to support regional teams on a broad range of workforce-related matters. We are interested in legally trained professionals with the following attributes:

  • 5+ years PQE in employment and labour law, gained in private practice and/or in-house environments
  • Qualified to practice law in a common law jurisdiction
  • Strong experience advising on the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, policies, employee relations, performance management, restructurings, and disputes
  • Proven ability to draft, review and update employment-related agreements, policies, and documentation
  • Experience partnering with HR, People Operations, and business units to deliver practical, risk-based legal advice
  • Exposure to regional or cross-border matters within APAC is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate independently and manage stakeholders across all levels
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to commence on short notice is preferred
