Regional IT Project Senior/Manager (1-year contract)

DP World APAC is seeking a Regional IT Project Senior/Manager (1-year contract) to join its regional IT function, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver high-impact technology initiatives across a dynamic and fast-evolving logistics environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Leads end-to-end project planning and execution, developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while defining clear scope, objectives, and success criteria, and ensuring alignment with IT standards and governance frameworks
• Drives project momentum through structured kick-offs, regular updates, and comprehensive status reporting, while maintaining control over scope and change management to keep initiatives on track
• Oversees risk and budget management by identifying potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and closely monitoring budget and timeline performance against actuals
• Manages infrastructure implementation across network, cloud, and data centre environments, coordinating upgrades, migrations, and system integrations while ensuring performance, security, and compliance standards are met
• Collaborates with IT engineers, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, providing clear communication on progress, risks, and dependencies, and facilitating meetings, updates, and issue resolution

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
• Solid experience in IT project management, with hands-on delivery of end-to-end projects in complex environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to enterprise infrastructure, including networking, cloud, and data centre environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and IT teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and MS Project.
• Familiarity with IT frameworks and delivery methodologies (e.g. ITIL, Agile)
• Open to committing a 1-year contract, offering regional exposure and potential for renewal or longer-term opportunities
