Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner business leaders in Singapore and across the regions to deliver a strong, consistent people agenda. This is a business-partnering-first role, responsible for enabling leader effectiveness, performance, engagement, and employee relations across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business units, aligning people strategy and day-to-day HR execution with business objectives and operating rhythm.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers; provide pragmatic, data-informed counsel on organization effectiveness, team health, and people decisions.
- Partner leaders on workforce planning, headcount strategy, and talent mapping; support org changes and role design to meet growth and productivity needs.
- Drive manager capability by coaching on core people practices including leadership behaviors, employee engagement, feedback, and team development.
- Own employee relations cases end-to-end: assess risk, advise on appropriate actions, guide investigations/disciplinary processes as applicable, and ensure consistent documentation and outcomes in line with Singapore employment practices and internal policy.
- Enable effective performance management: goal setting, review cycles, calibration support, performance improvement actions, and development planning.
- Support retention and engagement through insights and action planning (e.g., trend analysis, pulse results, stay/exit themes), partnering leaders to implement interventions.
- Partner with HR colleagues/COEs to implement HR programs and policy rollouts effectively; identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen HR service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, with strong, demonstrated HRBP capability;
- Proven ability to partner and influence senior stakeholders, translate business priorities into people actions, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Solid understanding of Singapore employment legislation, employee relations practices, and HR policy application.
- Hands-on experience supporting performance management, manager coaching, and organizational or workforce planning initiatives.
- Recruitment experience across multiple levels, including sourcing via job boards and social platforms; comfortable advising on selection and hiring decisions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, discretion, and judgment.
