Black & White Engineering is expanding rapidly across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, and we are looking for a Regional HR Operations Specialist to support the employee lifecycle and ensure compliant, efficient HR processes across the region.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role offering exposure to multi-country payroll, employment visas, HR systems, and regional governance. You will work closely with leadership and global HR colleagues to build strong operational foundations that enable growth, clarity and consistency across APAC.

About the Role

Reporting to the APAC People Manager, the Regional HR Operations Specialist (APAC) is responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant HR operations and administration across the employee lifecycle in the APAC region.

This role plays a critical role in supporting the Regional HR function and works closely with Talent Acquisition, People Partners and local Office Administrators to ensure consistent HR processes, data integrity and a smooth employee experience.

The role is an integral part of both the regional and global HR teams, supporting the APAC HR team in all aspects of HR transactions and administration, including the following responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data across the APAC region, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance throughout the employee lifecycle

  • Manage post-offer HR administration, including preparation and issuance of employment contracts and contractual changes, coordination of onboarding activities, and handover from Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless employee experience

  • Oversee employee lifecycle operations including joiners, movers, leavers, benefits administration, and response to employee enquiries relating to HR policies, payroll, and administrative matters

  • Manage regional payroll processes and employment visa/work pass requirements across relevant APAC markets, ensuring timely processing, regulatory compliance, and coordination with external providers or authorities where required

  • Prepare HR reports, data summaries and compliance documentation, supporting audits, governance requirements and informed decision-making by Regional HR and leadership

  • Liaise with Office Managers and Administrators to schedule and implement induction and onboarding activities

  • Support the planning and coordination of employee engagement initiatives and events in partnership with business support team

  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required to support the effective and compliant delivery of HR operations

About You

  • Diploma (or equivalent/higher) in Business Administration, HR or a related discipline

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • At least 2-3 years experience in HR administration or business administration is essential

  • Strong understanding and application of local labour laws, payroll-related regulations and HR compliance in APAC (SG, AU, MY, PH or others)

  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where change is ongoing

  • Willingness and openness to learn and develop within an evolving HR function
