Job Description

*Exclusive senior mandate* - Seeking a seasoned Head of Strategy and Technology Transformation (Senior Director / Managing Director), to lead the execution of the organization's IT strategy, Strategy Transformation, driving digital transformation.

Oversee and manage large-scale technology change initiatives, system modernization programs, and provides senior leadership across cross function teams. vendor management to enable business growth and digital innovation.

Responsibilities

IT Strategy Execution & Transformation

- Driving execution of the firm's IT strategy, aligning transformation initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.

- Lead teams to deliver digital transformation and modernization of systems and processes.

- Manage the IT Transformation Office portfolio, including prioritization of technology investments, resource allocation, and budget management.

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

- Ensuring transformation initiatives comply with banking regulations, security standards, and risk management frameworks.

- Establishing governance structures for IT change management and regulatory adherence.

Operational Excellence & IT Oversight

- Oversee IT operations to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of technology infrastructure.

Strategic Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations to optimize value, performance, and risk mitigation.

- Collaborate with business units to identify and deliver technology-driven improvements.

- Engage with executive leadership to report on transformation progress, risks, outcomes, and strategic opportunities.

Requirements

- Extensive consulting background experience across Financial Services.

- Min. 18 years of experience in IT leadership roles within the banking or financial services industry.

- Proven track record of driving global, regional, large-scale IT strategy transformation and digital modernization

- Sound program management experience in system modernization programs, and large scale technology change initiatives.

- Sound expertise in IT operations, enterprise architecture, and vendor management.

- Proven stakeholder engagement, and strategic leadership and ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
