About Our Client

Our client is an established regional bank with a strong presence across Asia and a clear focus on corporate banking and lending. As part of its continued investment in operational excellence, the bank is seeking a Regional Head of Operations to lead and scale its corporate banking and lending operations across the region.

This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for operations, combining run-the-bank responsibilities with transformation and change delivery to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end corporate banking and lending operations across the region, including loan booking, servicing, settlement, and post-disbursement processing.
• Drive operational efficiency, scalability, and control through process optimisation and transformation initiatives.
• Balance business-as-usual operations with strategic change and system enhancement projects.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across regional operations.
• Partner closely with corporate banking, credit, risk, technology, and regional stakeholders.
• Build and lead high-performing regional teams, embedding a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 12+ years experience in corporate banking operations within a regional or global bank.
• Strong knowledge of loans and lending operations; experience across lending products is an advantage.
• Proven track record in operational transformation, process optimisation, and change delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders across multiple geographies.
• Fluency in Mandarin is required, as the role supports Greater China and Hong Kong stakeholders and involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
