We are looking for a senior, commercially minded, innovative Regional Head of Brand & Growth to own the strategic and commercial performance of our FRP and Entry 1 Day portfolio across APAC. This role sits at the centre of portfolio strategy, go to market execution, and growth acceleration for some of our most critical brands, including clariti® and Biofinity®.
As the regional portfolio owner, you will be accountable for driving growth, innovation, relevance, and competitiveness across diverse APAC markets through clear positioning, differentiated value propositions, and integrated B2B and B2C programmes. You will shape the APAC portfolio roadmap, influence long range and annual business planning, and translate global brand platforms into locally impactful strategies that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
This is a highly cross functional leadership role, working closely with Global Marketing, Regional and Local Market teams, Professional Affairs, Customer Marketing and Supply Chain. You will bring a strong balance of strategic thinking, marketing expertise, analytical rigour, and hands on execution experience, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and coach teams across markets.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned brand and growth leader with a track record of managing complex portfolios, unlocking new wearer and value segment growth, and leading integrated marketing initiatives in dynamic, multi market environments. You are customer centric, data driven, and motivated by building sustainable, scalable growth platforms across the region.
Business Management
- Identify growth drivers and category opportunities for new wearer acquisition and trading from hydrogel brands for the portfolio, and work with markets to develop commercial programmes against these opportunities.
- Input portfolio plans into APAC long-term strategic plans and annual business plans.
- Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programmes and adapt regional and market marketing plans in response to changing customer and consumer needs, market dynamics, and competitive conditions.
- Provide insights into the APAC S&OP process for new wearer acquisition within the spherical portfolio, including demand forecasting, country monthly outlooks, and supply chain stakeholder management.
Product Portfolio Management
- Develop holistic go-to-market programmes to grow portfolio revenue and market share across both B2B and B2C channels.
- Gather and prioritise customer feedback and data analysis to drive in-market programmes and value-added services that enhance partnerships with key account partners and ECPs.
- Work closely with global counterparts to establish aligned positioning and messaging for APAC, and implement strategies consistently across markets.
- Develop new product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and launch toolkits to be scaled and implemented across APAC.
Integrated Marketing Communications
- Analyse and synthesise target audience needs, preferences, and behaviours (both ECP and consumer) to develop appropriate messaging and programmes throughout the conversion journey.
- Develop effective brand communication strategies based on customer and consumer needs and competitive dynamics.
- Develop briefs and manage agencies to deliver integrated campaigns across B2B, B2C, Digital, and PR channels. Align briefs, objectives, KPIs, and goals with APAC market requirements.
- Adapt global campaigns for ECPs and consumers to drive desired behavioural change throughout the consumer journey. Partner with global teams on positioning alignment and claims development.
- Develop digital marketing playbooks covering advertising, promotions, content, and CRM for customers and consumers.
- Manage budgets, timelines, internal and external communications, compliance requirements, approvals, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure excellent execution.
- Measure and report campaign results to both internal and external stakeholders.
Leadership
- Evaluate and optimise marketing spend, tracking and measuring effectiveness against business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with local markets and the Global Marketing Team, providing strategic insights on market conditions and customer needs while contributing to regional and global marketing plans.
- Participate in the annual development of regional objectives as outlined in the long-range strategic plan.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration on assigned projects, influencing stakeholders across Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Support, Sales Management, Finance, and external agencies.
- Document and communicate project status clearly, prioritising and assigning tasks where required.
- Perform other duties related to marketing and product management as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Bachelor's degree or above MBA preferred.
- Lead generation and branding experience preferred.
- Consumer marketing, CRM management, and healthcare/medical device industry experience preferred.
- Experience managing digital advertising agencies and web developers.
- Experience coordinating and facilitating conferences, events, and training programmes would be advantageous.
- Exposure to a U.S.-based multinational company would be an advantage.
- Japanese language proficiency would be advantageous to support communication and collaboration with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, customers, and business partners in the Japan market.
