About The Team

The Funding Team is responsible for building the Monee Credit business funding capabilities and implementing capital operations. Targeting multiple countries and business lines, we are responsible for establishing a stable, diversified, and sustainable funding supply to support the scalable growth. We cover the entire lifecycle management, from funding solution design, transaction structure and compliance implementation, and system and data delivery, to deployment operations and duration management, ensuring a balance between funding efficiency, funding cost, risk boundaries, and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

  • Develop and optimise regional funding allocation strategies by analysing capital requirements, funding utilisation, and portfolio performance across multiple markets, translating insights into actionable recommendations for business decisions.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support cash flow forecasting, funding planning, profitability analysis, and scenario modelling for funding structures, credit portfolios, and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate the commercial viability of funding and credit deals by analysing pricing, returns, funding costs, and overall profitability, while partnering with internal and external stakeholders on deal structuring and pricing discussions.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Credit Risk, Finance, Tax, Compliance, PMO, and other regional stakeholders to design, implement, and continuously improve funding frameworks and capital allocation approaches.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses and develop data-driven solutions to improve funding efficiency, optimise capital deployment, and support executive decision-making across the region.
  • Lead ad-hoc strategic analyses and cross-functional initiatives to address evolving business needs, regulatory requirements, and funding-related opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or other quantitative disciplines.
  • Experience in financial analysis, funding, credit risk, corporate finance, treasury, structured finance, FP&A, or other quantitative roles within financial services, fintech, consulting, or related industries.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with hands-on experience in financial modelling, cash flow analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario modelling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with Python or other analytical tools is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of credit, lending products, funding structures, or capital markets. Prior exposure to consumer finance or fintech businesses is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and business data into actionable insights and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
