The Regional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role is crucial for maintaining our competitive edge and ensuring long-term financial sustainability in the fast-paced food and instant delivery landscape.
We are looking for a driven and passionate candidate who is naturally curious, proactive and has a keen analytical mindset. As part of the Regional FP&A team, you will be involved in the tracking of competitor movements and financial performance across the region, and be responsible for the consolidation of market intelligence and financial data to drive strategic decisions impacting our P&L. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with both regional and local stakeholders in monitoring financial and strategic initiatives and presenting data-driven insights to management on a regular basis.
Job Description
- Competitor Intelligence & Benchmarking:
- Liaise with local stakeholders to perform competitor analysis and benchmarking to model and track competitors revenue and cost structures, extracting key insights for informed strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and update regional competitive landscapes, highlighting shifts in market share and white space opportunities.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Support the monthly financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to provide regional budgeting guidance across all markets.
- Support the team on other ad-hoc projections.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within the FP&A function.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Prepare high-quality presentation decks for regional business reviews and monthly meetings with the Head of Business.
- Standardize data collection processes to ensure a single source of truth across all markets.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in Strategic Finance (FBP/FP&A/Commercial Finance) role or industry research role. Experience in highly dynamic environments or a high-growth Tech startup is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas) is mandatory
- Familiarity with SQL is a strong advantage; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) is a plus.
- A deep interest in the platform economy and a desire to understand the mechanics of the food and instant delivery industry.
- Ability to distill noisy data into concise, actionable bullet points and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
