Regional Financial Accountant (6-Month Contract, potential extension) | East of Singapore | Hybrid
An established global healthcare organization is looking for a Regional Financial Accountant to support its APAC Regional Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys financial reporting, controllership, and working in a regional finance environment.
What you'll be working on:
- Manage month-end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review regional financial statements, accruals, prepayments, and reporting packages across multiple APAC markets.
- Support regional financial governance, accounting compliance, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Perform expense analysis, variance reporting, and budget tracking.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory reporting activities.
- Perform manufacturing finance activities, including production costing and month-end settlement in SAP S/4HANA.
- Partner closely with regional finance teams and headquarters on financial reporting and ad hoc analysis.
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA).
- 3–8 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Financial Controlling, or Regional Finance within a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
- Experience with SAP ERP (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management.
This is an individual contributor role with strong regional exposure and offers the opportunity to work closely with senior finance leadership within a multinational environment.
