Regional Finance Director (SEA)

Regional Finance Director | Singapore

We are partnering with a well-established regional organization in the event management industry to hire a Regional Finance Director based in Singapore.

This is a senior leadership opportunity reporting directly to the Group CFO, with oversight across multiple South East Asia markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Indonesia.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving regional financial performance, strengthening governance and controls, supporting strategic business initiatives, and partnering closely with senior business leaders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead regional finance operations across SEA markets
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management
• Partner closely with Business Unit Heads to support commercial and operational decision-making
• Strengthen governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls across the region
• Lead finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, including automation and system enhancements
• Support treasury initiatives including cashflow optimisation and banking structures
• Oversee tax planning and regional compliance strategies
• Support strategic corporate initiatives including M&A activities, due diligence, valuation, and transaction execution
• Lead and develop regional finance teams across multiple markets

Requirements:

• Proven regional finance leadership experience across South East Asia
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience managing multi-country finance operations in a complex environment
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to support strategic business growth
• Exposure to transformation, automation, or operational excellence initiatives
• Prior experience in corporate finance / M&A will be advantageous
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving regional environment
