Job Description
Reporting to senior leadership, this is a newly created regional role combining financial controllership and strategic business partnering responsibilities across multiple international markets.
Financial Controllership & Governance
- Oversee finance operations across regional entities, ensuring alignment with group policies and reporting standards
- Lead management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
- Strengthen internal controls, corporate governance and financial policies across regions
- Drive working capital management, including inventory, receivables and payables optimisation
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Support implementation of structured frameworks including internal audit and compliance processes
Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted finance advisor to regional business leaders, providing insights on profitability and operational performance
- Partner closely with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve commercial decision-making
- Identify key value drivers across supply chain, inventory and operational efficiency
Investment & Strategic Finance
- Support evaluation of investment opportunities, including M&A and expansion projects
- Conduct financial modelling, due diligence and feasibility assessments
- Provide strategic insights on growth opportunities across new markets
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accounting, Finance with professional qualification (e.g. CA/CPA)
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a foundation in Big 4 or audit environment
- Strong experience in regional finance management, statutory reporting and internal controls
- Proven ability to operate as a commercial finance business partner
- Experience in distribution, trading, or supply chain-driven environments is advantageous
- Exposure to investment analysis, due diligence or corporate finance activities is preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work across diverse international teams
