Regional Executive, Parts Demand Forecasting & Planning

Job Summary

The RegionalExecutive, Parts Demand Forecasting & Planning is a critical role withinthe Centralized Parts Management team, responsiblefor regional demand forecasting and planning to ensure parts availability at Central Hub and ESC while meeting Servicetargets and optimizing working capital for SEA region.

This role also supports Strategicand Operational projects,including Service Parts strategy implementation, operational processimprovements, and other assignmentsby the Regional Manager.

Scope of work & Key Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting

  • Develop 6-month regional demand forecasts and minimum monthly rolling forecasts using statistical models, service demand inputs, product launch and withdrawal, engineers input on parts wear and tear, countries input, and leveraging Parts Planning tools/systems to ensure accurate and minimize bias forecasts.
  • Analyse demand patterns and signals by countries, distributors, service partners, and parts criticality to refine forecasting parameters
  • Collaborate with HQ planning teams to ensure forecasts are aligned with supply-side constraints

Planning

  • Define and maintain the regional parts planning process (baseline models, ABC-XYZ classification etc.)
  • Define service levels for each segment, safety stock, reorder and replenishment points, and re-order amounts by SKU for each ESC and Central Hub
  • Collaborate with Order Management, Inventory Management, and ESC colleagues to optimize and manage trade-off between service level and inventory costs regionally.
  • Coordinate with Business units and Product engineers to ensure planning accuracy and implementation.
  • Optimize inventory investment through effective planning parameters, stock balancing, and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining target service levels.

Performance & Governance

  • Collaborate with Parts Excellence colleague to track planning KPls (i.e. Delivery on-time, Parts fulfilment rate, Days of supply, Aging stocks, Write-off) and continuously improve planning rules.
  • Provide planning rules and thresholds to align downstream order management and inventory management.
  • Provide prompt support to the management and team for any other assignments/duties thatare required based on business needs

Critical Work Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Demand planning, Inventory planning, Parts Planning, Supply chain planning
  • Experience in Aftersales, service parts, manufacturing or related industries preferred
  • Statistical forecasting, inventory optimization, and replenishment planning preferred
  • Experience with ERP and Forecasting & planning tools/systems (i.e. SAP, Power Bl, Excel)

Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Industrial Engineering or related discipline
