Job Description

About this Position Gain hands-on experience supporting maintenance excellence initiatives across Henkel's APAC manufacturing network. You'll work on real-world projects involving equipment reliability, maintenance digitalization, data analytics, and continuous improvement while collaborating with site teams across the region. This internship offers exposure to regional operations, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and industry best practices in asset management and manufacturing performance.

What You´ll Do

Maintenance Strategy & Assessment Support

  • Assist in deploying global and regional maintenance strategy initiatives
  • Coordinate data gathering and perform analyses for key equipment reliability issues
  • Help organize regional maintenance workshops and trainings

CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Deployment & Governance

  • Assist in the rollout, standardization, and optimization of CMMS platform at selected APAC manufacturing sites.
  • Help configure asset hierarchies, preventive maintenance (PM) task lists, and spare parts master data to ensure cross-site alignment.
  • Support sites in tracking maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Work Order compliance, Labour Utilization and Unplanned Technical Downtime.

Asset Reliability & Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Initiatives

  • Support the regional deployment of advanced reliability programs, including vibration monitoring, thermal imaging compliance, and oil analysis
  • Assist in analyzing historical failure data and conducting root cause problem elimination exercises for recurring cross-site equipment breakdowns.
  • Benchmark maintenance execution and reliability metrics across different plants to identify performance gaps and best practice sharing

Others

  • Maintain well-organized documentation of the analysis process, methodologies used, and findings for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide support for ad hoc data collection, research, and other special projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you a good fit

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE), Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel skills for data analysis are a strong plus).
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and written English skills for engaging with remote site teams.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
