Lead the development of wind turbine solutions for Southeast Asia (SEA) markets, providing technical support and delivering competitive turbine configurations and project-specific technical proposals aligned with regional customer and site requirements.
Participate in wind power project development, tendering, and commercial negotiations across Southeast Asia, providing technical consultation, solution presentations, and technical clarification support to clients, developers, and stakeholders.
Oversee turbine selection, load analysis, micro-siting, energy yield assessment, and project feasibility studies for wind projects in Southeast Asia, ensuring compliance with diverse regional regulatory frameworks, grid codes, and environmental conditions.
Coordinate closely with global R&D, engineering, supply chain, and regional project delivery teams to ensure effective adaptation and implementation of wind turbine solutions across Southeast Asia markets.
Monitor Southeast Asia wind energy market trends, competitor activities, policy developments, and technology evolution to continuously enhance product competitiveness and solution positioning in the region.
Engage with customers, independent consultants, certification bodies, and regional partners across Southeast Asia to manage technical communication and build strong long-term relationships.
Support Southeast Asia wind project development through technical feasibility analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization, contributing to improved project bankability, returns, and execution efficiency.
Contribute to Southeast Asia regional business strategy by providing technical insights on market entry, turbine product positioning, localization needs, and solution adaptation for different countries in the region.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Wind Energy Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the wind energy industry, preferably with exposure to Southeast Asia or emerging markets. Experience in wind turbine solutions, project development, or technical sales support is required.
Strong understanding of wind turbine technical specifications, wind resource assessment, energy yield calculations, and wind project development processes, particularly in multi-country or cross-border environments.
Proven project management and cross-functional coordination capabilities, with the ability to independently manage complex regional projects across Southeast Asia.
Strong client-facing and commercial communication skills, with experience engaging international customers, developers, and stakeholders across Southeast Asia markets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen with the ability to operate in a dynamic, multicultural regional environment.
Proficiency in English as a working language additional Asian language skills (e.g., Mandarin or local SEA languages) will be an advantage.
Willingness to travel frequently across Southeast Asia as required.
