Job Description

The Regional Director, Talent Management & Organization Development is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the organization's talent, leadership, succession, organization effectiveness, culture, and capability-building strategies across the region. This role partners closely with regional business leaders, country HR teams, and Centers of Excellence to ensure the organization has the leadership pipeline, organizational capabilities, and workforce readiness required to deliver sustainable business growth and transformation.

The incumbent is part of HR leadership team to senior leadership on talent, organization effectiveness, leadership development, culture transformation, and future workforce capabilities.

Key Responsibilitie

Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Develop and execute regional talent management strategies aligned with business priorities
  • Spearhead integrated talent management strategy and framework that reflect key organization and critical leadership needs in addressing talent management needs and challenges
  • Lead talent review and succession planning processes for leadership and key specialist roles
  • Establish robust talent identification frameworks for high-potential and high-performing employees
  • Monitor talent bench strength and succession readiness across all major functions and markets
  • Drive differentiated talent development plans for critical talent segments

Leadership Development

  • Design and implement leadership development frameworks across all leadership levels
  • Establish regional leadership competencies and behaviors aligned with company values and strategic priorities
  • Lead executive assessment, coaching, mentoring, and leadership acceleration programs
  • Partner with business leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational performance
  • Build future-ready leadership capabilities including digital, innovation, AI, change leadership, and enterprise thinking

Organization Development & Effectiveness

  • Co-lead organization design and effectiveness initiatives to improve agility, productivity, and business performance
  • Advise leadership teams on organizational structure, operating models, role clarity, and workforce planning
  • Co-facilitate organizational transformation programs
  • Conduct organizational diagnostics and recommend interventions to improve effectiveness and employee experience
  • Drive simplification and continuous improvement of people processes and organizational practices

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Champion culture transformation initiatives that support strategic business objectives
  • Develop programs that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion, collaboration, and innovation
  • Monitor organizational health indicators and implement targeted interventions
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to strengthen employee value proposition and employer brand

Learning & Capability Development

  • Establish regional capability-building strategies to address future workforce requirements
  • Drive enterprise-wide learning initiatives focused on leadership, functional excellence, digital transformation, and AI adoption
  • Build scalable learning ecosystems utilizing technology, digital platforms, and self-directed learning

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with stakeholders on executives hiring and selection process
  • Drive continuous process improvements for optimal candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Develop recruitment channel strategy that cost effectively delivers sources for drawing a strong candidate pool

Governance & Analytics

  • Establish talent and organization development governance frameworks across the region
  • Define and monitor key talent metrics, succession indicators, leadership pipeline health, and organizational effectiveness measures
  • Utilize people analytics to inform strategic workforce decisions
  • Present talent insights and recommendations to senior leadership teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
  • 20+ years of progressive HR experience with significant expertise in Talent Management and Organization Development
  • Minimum 10 years leading regional or global talent and OD function
  • Proven experience working with executive leadership team
  • Experience in multinational and matrix organization
  • Demonstrated success in leadership development, succession planning, organizational transformation, and culture change
