Regional Data Lead / Head - Insurance

About the job

• Direct the implementation of regional data strategies, building scalable data capabilities and foundational infrastructure to empower reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives across the region.

• Partner with cross-functional leadership to bridge business demand with technical execution, prioritizing high-value delivery alongside Data Engineering teams.

• Establish standard data architecture deliverables and taxonomy alignments to streamline legacy dependencies and minimize manual reconciliations.

• Oversee end-to-end program management for regional data enablement portfolios, enforcing structured delivery governance, scope control, dependency tracking.

• Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary regional team to drive execution

Skills and experience required

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing data, analytics, and AI programs, ideally within the insurance space

• Proven track record of delivering core data foundations across a complex regional operating model.

• Deep expertise in large-scale project/program management, multi-geography delivery governance, risk mitigation, and executive-level reporting.

• Extensive experience leading, coaching, and scaling diverse, geographically dispersed teams within a matrixed global organizational structure.

• Superior stakeholder management, change management, and negotiation skills, with a strong grasp of data governance standards and regulatory compliance.
