Job Summary
Support the implementation and coordination of PSA BDP's Compliance, HSEQ, and Integrated Management System (IMS) initiatives across the APAC region.
This role works closely with Country Directors, Operations Leaders, and local site coordinators to support compliance with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
The incumbent will assist in regional audit coordination, incident tracking, ESG data consolidation, and operational compliance activities to strengthen safety awareness and risk governance across office and warehouse operations within the freight forwarding and logistics network.
This role reports to the APAC Senior Regional HSE Manager and supports regional compliance and HSEQ activities in alignment with global and regional frameworks. This is an on-site role.
Primary Functions:
Regional Compliance & HSEQ Support
- Support the implementation and maintenance of regional HSEQ and compliance frameworks in alignment with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements across APAC
- Assist in maintaining consistency in the application of the Integrated Management System (IMS) across multiple countries
- Support compliance documentation, governance processes, and reporting requirements
- Coordinate with Country Directors and Operations teams to support operational compliance and HSEQ practices
- Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and emergency preparedness coordination activities where required
Audit & Certification Coordination
- Coordinate regional audit schedules, including internal audits, external certification audits, and customer assessments
- Support liaison with certification bodies, auditors, and internal stakeholders on HSEQ-related matters
- Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive action (CAPA) closure timelines
- Maintain audit records and support standardization of audit documentation across APAC locations
Incident & Operational Risk Support
- Support incident reporting and tracking processes across the region
- Assist in monitoring incident trends and follow-up actions
- Support root cause analysis documentation and corrective action tracking
- Promote awareness of operational and workplace safety practices
Sustainability & ESG Reporting
- Support the consolidation and submission of regional ESG and sustainability data
- Assist with environmental and sustainability reporting requirements
- Support the preparation of reports and presentation materials for regional management review
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with Country Directors, Operations Leaders, and functional teams on compliance and HSEQ matters
- Support communication and follow-up activities related to regional initiatives
- Assist in regional participation for global HSEQ programmes and initiatives
Training & Awareness
- Support the coordination of regional compliance and HSEQ training programmes
- Promote awareness of safety and compliance requirements across business units
- Provide operational support to local site coordinators and HSE representatives where applicable
Operational Support
- Provide support during audits, operational reviews, and incident investigations where required
- Travel across APAC to support operational sites and regional activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects
Job Requirements
Prerequisites:
- Degree in any discipline, preferably in Science, Engineering, HSE, Logistics, or a related field.
- Approximately 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in HSEQ, Compliance, Operational Risk, or related functions within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environments
- Exposure to regional or multi-country operations would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards preferred
- Certified Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification would be an advantage
- Professional safety certification (e.g., WSH Officer or equivalent) is an advantage
- Working knowledge of APAC regulatory and operational environments preferred
- Good coordination, reporting, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and support cross-country execution
