Frazer Jones is pleased to be partnering with a leading global investment management firm to appoint an experienced AVP / VP – Compensation to join their Singapore office. This is a key role within a well‑established, high‑performance organisation, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and regional remuneration strategy within a highly regulated financial services environment.
This position will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and governance of compensation frameworks across the business, working closely with senior leadership, HR Business Partners, and regional Reward teams. The role will provide expert advice on fixed and variable compensation structures, annual remuneration reviews, incentive planning, benchmarking, and market competitiveness, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
Acting as a trusted advisor, the AVP / VP will partner closely with investment or corporate functions on compensation‑related matters, including new hire offers, promotions, role changes, and complex remuneration scenarios. The role will also be involved in preparing remuneration analyses and materials for senior management, remuneration committees, and regulatory reporting where required.
The successful candidate will collaborate with regional and global Reward teams on policy interpretation, market data utilisation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, international organisation while balancing commercial realities with risk and compliance considerations.
The ideal candidate will have prior compensation or reward experience, ideally gained within investment management, asset management, banking, or other highly regulated financial services organisations. Strong stakeholder management skills, experience advising senior leaders, and sound knowledge of regional compensation practices are essential. Exposure to APAC markets and familiarity with regulatory and governance frameworks will be highly advantageous.
