Regional Category Manager, Stores - Singapore

As Regional Category Manager Technical Stores, you will be at the forefront of shaping our vendor landscape and driving strategic procurement decisions within critical technical categories. You'll lead procurement initiatives aimed at optimizing total cost of ownership by evaluating key factors such as pricing, quality, assortment, availability, and logistics, ensuring Wrist remains a competitive force in the global ship supply industry. Leveraging your strong procurement background and deep category expertiseparticularly in technical stores like safety gear, protective equipment, and tools, you'll harness data insights to refine global and regional assortments. Your experience managing complex, end-to-end tender processes through e-sourcing platforms positions you to deliver real impact and strengthen our Procurement performance across the region. Further, you will collaborate closely with our other regional procurement teams and our global team to build and implement efficient sourcing strategies, ensuring the most competitive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Wrist and our customers.

Join our dynamic regional procurement team based in Singapore, headed by our Regional Procurement Director, Asia. You will join our skilled Regional Category Managers within Provisions and Stores. During the initial months, you will benefit from a comprehensive onboarding process designed to ensure a smooth transition into your new role and set you up for success.
In this role, you will take ownership of optimizing regional procurement spend in close collaboration with the global procurement team and cross-functional departments in our Singapore branch. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, develop and refine procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conduct in-depth analysis of purchasing behaviors to uncover opportunities for value creation. Your core focus areas include Strategic Sourcing, Category Managementfrom strategy development to deploymentand the optimization of the vendor base and broader supply chain across your categories. Your contributions will be key to elevating procurement performance and ensuring alignment with both regional and global priorities.

What we're looking for:
You preferably hold a bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, or a related field, and bring 5+ years of proven experience in technical stores procurement and strategic sourcing. You are passionate about driving value and continuous improvement, with a hands-on approach to developing initiatives and delivering results. With a strong analytical mindset and solid experience in e-sourcing, you thrive in a data-driven environment and are confident navigating complex procurement landscapes.
Your expertise includes vendor consolidation, cost-saving initiative execution, stakeholder management, and a working knowledge of inventory management. You are a natural communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions and geographies
