Job Description

Job Purpose:

To drive regional category growth by dynamically managing performance and triggering corrective actions, identifying repeatable solution / innovation opportunities, tailoring and commercializing repeatable solutions with operating countries (OpCos) and driving execution of piloting incubation. This role ensures that category / segment strategies are effectively adapted and executed across diverse markets, contributing to overall business success.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Segment Performance Management. Monitor and analyses category performance, consumer and competitor trends across region, identifying growth drivers and performance gaps, to both inform strategic decisions and trigger corrective action. Owns segment x archetype priority deployment in region.
  • Segment / Innovation Opportunity Identification. Identifiers and prioritizes innovation repeatable solutions within each region, ensuring relevance to local consumer needs and commercial potential and ensures inclusion / adaptation of global priority lists and repeatable solution development.
  • Regional Adaptation of Repeatable Solutions. Adapts global repeatable solutions and accelerators to fit regional market dynamics, enabling consistent yet locally relevant execution.
  • Pilot Deployment Leadership. Leads the planning and execution of pilots to tests new initiatives, ensuring excellent execution, relevant iteration and quick scaling with and across OpCos.
  • Incubator Execution Leadership. Ensures all OpCo incubators follow Future Bet / incubation principles and identifies incubation solutions above OpCo where OpCo capacity requires.

Experience & Profile (What & How)

What:

  • Education: Masters / Degree level
  • Work Experience: At least 12 years experience
  • Required Work Experience in field of expertise: Experience in category management, commercial strategy, brand or trade marketing in a global or regional role within a multinational FMCG. Innovation
  • Other fields of experience: New brand / Innovation commercialization, consumer and market insights and performance management, strong OpCo experience.
  • Functional Skills: Strong commercial acumen including Commercialisation of new brands and innovation, complex stakeholder management
  • Travel: Open to travel 20% of the time
