Fulfilled by Shopee is a promise of high service standards made to millions of customers across 8 markets - and your work will determine how well Shopee meets this promise. You will own and build product systems that manage inventory across multiple warehouses to fulfil customer orders (including forecasting, planning replenishment, inventory placement and inventory health). This role presents an excellent opportunity to design product strategies in a dynamic e-Commerce industry.

Job Description

  • Working directly with local teams and regional leadership, you will set the product agenda—deciding what gets built, in what order, and why.
  • Own the full product lifecycle - from problem definition and solution design to rollout and post-launch iteration
  • Prepare User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios, coordinate the testing and live releases
  • Drive successful solution implementation and adoption with internal training, deployment planning, day-to-day support, feedback gathering, etc
  • Evaluate technical design decisions against scalability and long-term innovation requirements
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to utilise AI and Machine Learning to improve system decision-making. Demand forecasting, inventory placement, picking wave run, supplier performance scoring, and consumables recommendation are all live problem spaces.
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholder engagement across Marketplace, Logistics and Warehouse teams to align on solutions
  • Plan the longer-term product roadmap for the warehouse business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (Operations Management), Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Industrial System Engineering, or other Engineering degrees is preferred
  • Experience in product management (ideally in a technology or logistics environment) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills in supply chain, operations, transportation or inventory management domains
  • Understands enough about AI/ML to have a productive conversation with data scientists and algorithm teams - you don't need to build models but you need to know when to commission one and how to evaluate its performance
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion independently
  • Ability to communicate with all levels in the organisation (technical, business, executive)
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick learner, independent and flexible, with strong customer focus
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytic skills with experience using quantitative tools is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to various warehouses and stations overseas to observe operations, implement features, and provide on-site support
