Operating within a leading financial services ecosystem, the Regional Business Innovation Manager serves as a high-visibility strategic bridge and trusted thought partner between Local Business Units and technology teams.
In this position, you will translate commercial priorities into practical innovation and AI strategies tailored to the evolving financial services landscape. Beyond strategy design, you will be heavily involved in the human side of tech adoption - driving end-to-end business transformation, executing robust change management frameworks, and proactively addressing user resistance to ensure smooth, long-term adoption of new capabilities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a dedicated partner to regional financial and insurance stakeholders to understand local business priorities. Guide teams from initial problem framing through to solution design, delivering AI and innovation initiatives focused on measurable customer and business results.
- Identify and scale opportunities to leverage AI (including AI agents and emerging enterprise tools) to boost operational efficiency, customer experience, and commercial performance.
- ollaborate closely with regional planning teams and cross-functional groups to ensure seamless project implementation. Run or support PMO functions, including project planning, status reporting, resource coordination, and the swift resolution of delivery risks or issues.
- Develop comprehensive business justification papers and financial models to help local Group Companies secure senior management endorsement, funding, and approval.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms with a strictly tool-agnostic mindset, ensuring that chosen solutions directly serve insurance and business outcomes rather than technology for its own sake.
- Engage local markets to ensure all initiatives are practical, scalable, and tailored to local priorities. Develop regional playbooks, toolkits, and learning resources, while actively promoting success stories to accelerate AI maturity across the region.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant experience spanning business transformation, innovation, management consulting, or corporate strategy.
- A strong background in the insurance or financial servicesindustry is highly preferred.
- A solid conceptual understanding of enterprise AI applications, AI agents, and digital workflows. Note: Deep technical coding skills are not required, but the ability to converse fluently with developers and business leaders is essential.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves executor with a strong bias for action, high drive, and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams under pressure.
- Thrives in fast-evolving, ambiguous environments and possesses the structured, conceptual thinking needed to turn complex chaos into clear roadmaps.
