About the opportunity:

A mission critical role for Media.Monks is the Regional Business Director, APAC.
In this role, you would lead a team in developing and executing marketing programs designed to drive awareness and engagement for key client initiatives. This is a role where you'll partner with one of our largest global tech client teams to help expand and grow the client business in APAC. You will lead internal regional teams and work with senior leadership to manage the day-to-day client relationships and health of the business, ensuring that projects are delivered on strategy and on budget.

  • Experience operating in an agency team structure, managing teams and projects, resourcing future needs, and building strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale strategies and programs, with experience managing diverse sets of digital marketing and creative programs mapping back to larger strategies and achieving key objectives.
  • Experience working on large accounts in APAC in coordination with global teams.
  • Ability to develop a meaningful understanding of the products and audience needs.
  • A strong understanding of nuances across the region and applying global initiatives to relevant regional programs.
  • Strong communication, project management and relationship-building skills with key clients, partners and stakeholders globally.
  • A comfort level with data, and analytics to measure and optimize programs.
  • High energy, detail-oriented person, with a go-getter, positive attitude comfortable working autonomously and within groups.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the face of the agency with clients, partners, and vendors in managing existing projects and generating new project wins.
  • Build and manage a team to plan and execute digital marketing activities to support client objectives.
  • Provide financial planning and marketing guidance to develop client programs.
  • Identify and develop the right set of assets and corresponding content to educate prospects about client's products and help customers adopt new features.
  • Connect with global agency teams and identify opportunities to develop and scale marketing initiatives that are relevant for the APAC region.
  • Manage and resource multiple work streams to maintain project timelines and budgets while ensuring all deliverables are at a world-class level.
  • Drive alignment and decision-making across the region in support of client efforts and to ensure the health of the business.

Your experience will include:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in account management, strategic leadership roles, or marketing program management, ideally in a high-tech enterprise context.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale strategies and programs, with experience managing diverse sets of digital marketing and creative programs mapping back to larger strategies and achieving key objectives.
  • Experience with email marketing campaigns is highly valued, but not required.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A comfort level with data, financial management, and analytics to measure and optimize programs.
  • High energy, detail-oriented person, with a go-getter, positive attitude comfortable working autonomously and within groups.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace products preferred.
